I have been a qualified PGA Professional Golfer for over 20 years.
My golf career began at the age of 17, after my earlier years were spend as a javelin thrower for the British Under 21 National Squad.
In 1998 I moved to Portugal, where for 3 years I played all over Europe as an amateur, winning over 20 events, such as, The Volvo Amateur Masters, Carlsberg Open, Peugeot Classic, Algarve Open and the BMW National Cup.
I returned to the UK playing competitively to a handicap of 2+ and became fully PGA qualified in 1996.
I furthered my career from 1997 to 2001 by playing both European Tour and Challenge Tour. As one of the tours longest drivers, recording averages of over 330 yards, I also became involved in many long drive exhibitions.
In 2001 I took on my first Club Professional position at Sheerness Golf Club, operating a successful retail outlet, as well as teaching golfers of all levels.
For the last 10 years I have been in charge of the development programme for all ages of junior golfers across Kent, both in schools coaching and academy golf. My success in the development of junior golfers, along with my journey within the golf industry, has led me to become one of the most accomplished teaching instructors in the country. Although I have become well established within the field of long driving, I specialise in all areas of the game from complete beginners, through to other PGA Professionals. My experience has given me the opportunity to have played with many of the most respected golfers in the world.
I will ensure you have an enjoyable and rewarding experience in learning to improve your golf.
